Q: WHY SHOULD I WORK WITH INSPIRED TRAVEL DESIGNS, WHEN I CAN JUST BOOK ONLINE?
Well, for a few reasons! I’ll save you time (and a whole lot of hassle) by taking all the research and planning off your plate. Do you know that people, on average, spend 40+ hours researching their vacations online—only to end up overwhelmed by all the information?!
More than that, though, I’ll design a travel experience you just can’t get on your own—drawing on my strong relationships with top travel suppliers and my extensive personal travel experience (36 countries and counting!).

Q: WHAT DESTINATIONS DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?
I don’t specialize in particular destinations—rather, I specialize in how you travel. I’m here to send you anywhere in the world, as long as you’re looking for an immersive, off-the-beaten-path experience.
Plus, as a foodie myself, I love to build incredible culinary experiences into my clients’ travels. Think expert-led market tours, private wine tastings at historic vineyards, and cooking classes with fresh-from-the-garden ingredients.
Q: HOW DOES THE PLANNING PROCESS WORK?
We’ll kick things off with your complimentary consultation call, so I can learn more about you—your likes and dislikes, the destination you’ve been dreaming of, and your travel style. You will also get to know me. Once we agree to work together, we may have another call to get deeper in your interests and then, I’ll put together a couple of itinerary options for you, and we’ll refine one until it’s a perfect fit.
Next I’ll take care of booking every travel component for you, and you’ll receive organized travel documents to take with you on your journey.
I’m just a phone call away, too, if you need assistance while you travel.
Q: DO YOU CHARGE A SERVICE FEE?
Yes, I do charge a service fee to cover my time researching and planning your custom itinerary. My service fee starts at $400 and increases from there, based on the length and complexity of your itinerary—I’ll give you an exact quote after our consultation call together.
Q: WHAT IS TRAVEL INSURANCE—AND DO I REALLY NEED IT?
I HIGHLY recommend travel insurance to all of my clients, for a few reasons.
Going on an extraordinary travel journey is a big investment—and travel insurance protects that investment. Certain types of travel insurance can help you recoup costs if you have to cancel your trip.
Plus, travel insurance can cover your medical costs (and even help connect you to the right care) if you fall ill or injure yourself while abroad.
Keep in mind that your own medical insurance most likely does not fully cover costs incurred out of the country.
Even if you have a credit card that provides some insurance benefits, travel insurance can supplement what your card offers—and travel insurance often has more flexible reimbursement policies than credit cards.
